Wife and I went to Vegas this Jul (19th to 25th) my brother was watching the place tank over heated due to the 30+ degree weather all week Evyerthing you see in those pics was obliterated.. When we got home at 1am house was 35c I lost all my cleaner crew (snails crabs) I got from J & L, lost my fish, lost all my liverock, coralline algae.. I managed to save 1 Rock with Coraline. I had only 3 snails service (they had sense to get out of the water, also my brittle star made it as well..

The tank water was very warm.. The tank was about as warm as the house was.. I was devastated.. almost shut the tank down.. the water was foul.. When I saw there was some life left.. I did some water changes to get temp down purchased some cured LR and got everything going again..

Lighting is 2 55w PC and 1 Actinic 420 Most of the pink color was coralline algae (which after the distaster is 95% gone

Nice recovery I'd say! Very nice work on getting the tank back in order.

I have not take new pics yet.. going to do that later. I used to have a live web cam on the tank, but its offline at the moment.. The tank I think looks pretty good comsidering what happened in late Aug.
