african cichlids have little grey film on them??

hey guys has anyone hurd of this they have had it for awhile and i lost one today not to sure if the oscar got it or what?? but its just like very thin patches of grey on them? any ideas? disease?

I used to have cichlids,sounds like a bacterial infection,I would try melafix,It worked great for me.
