Ya Vinegar, Windex. Just not soap. Soap will leave a residue.

If you know a mechanic or electrician, brade kleen or contact cleaner. These are degreasers which do not leave a residue behind. Just use it outside, as the liquids evaporate really fast, and are flammable.
