Default Green buble algae....

Hi guys,

I've started to see some green buble algae on some of my life rock...they look like bubble gum baloon..Is it something that we want in a reef or not???

If not...what is the way to remove it...is their a type of fish or invertebrate that will eat it???

Thank you

Marco

My emerald crabs easily took care of bubble algae within a couple of weeks.

I took the pieces of liverock out of the tank and scraped the bubble algae off with a knife. I haven't seen it back since.

Bubble alage = a bad reef time. It is not a good alage to have in your tank and can spread very fast. When removing it be careful not to break the bubbles. I would try the emerald.
