Default Urgent warning

Anyone get a message today from Fortis? Apparently alot of Red Deer and Area are going to be without power for at least 4 hrs tonight!! I dont know about other reefer but I think this could have a huge impact on our tanks...

Yikes nothing for 4 hrs!

Just thought Ièd give ppl a heads up before it to late

The outage is going to affect the Sylvan area from 10:30 pm to 2:30 am tonight, just got off the phone with Fortis.

No they didn't, lol. I am glad that I have 2 portable welders both with 12000 kva gen's built in. Still have to have an electrician come and hook up a kill switch on my power pole and put a plug on it to hook them to though. Hope the power doesn't go out any time soon here.

4 hours isn't that long, make sure your water is well aerated before you go down and you should be fine unless you have an over populated tank.

If you're overly concerned run a battery powered air pump to be safe or keep you lights on until the power goes down which will delay CO2 production from algae.
