Default 125 g keeps gettind mold on lid????

hey guys on my 125 gallon it keep getting mold, the style of lid thats on it is more like a cupboard lid.. it has 3 slots at the back for air flow but it doesn't seem to be enough?? and i dont really wanna leave the doors open just incase one of them jump out , ive been treating with melaxfix latley for cloud eye could this be doing it??

Have you thought of putting in a fan? Just a small one, like a little cooling fan computers have. This might be enough to help air things out. As to whats doing it. I'm not sure.

A fan is the answer, the heat from the light and the humidity is over powering and causing the wood to mildew then mold... Been there before and a fan will cure your problem for sure

Yup...Add a fan or put glass tops on your tank.
