Default new tank

0k after looking around for awile i have decided to upgrade my tank from 55 gallon to 135 but got few questions .i want a herbie over flow should i just drill tank for 2 holes and put return over top edge?also am going trim less on tank and would black silicone look ok or go clear <the clear on my 55 is kind of green and i dont like it much .also would a eshopp 150 work ok for a sps type tank before i buy it

Good quality clear silicone should stay clear. Algae will often cause it to turn green though, especially on older silicones. If you are going trimless with starphire glass then I'd probably go with clear. It looks smoking nice. Black silicon looks really 'stealthy'. Check out photos of trimless tanks to make the decision.

Herbie overflow - you need 2 holes for sure in the overflow box. You can put the return wherever you want, as a 3rd hole in the overflow or up over the edge. Just make sure your drain holes are big enough for the water flow you want to push through it.
