Default I want discuss about my fish

Hi Friends,
I have a red belly pirahana in a 10 gallon tank (yes i know its small) and no matter what i put in there, he eats. The longest survived fish was a plecko that was about twice the size of him and lasted about 3 months. Smaller pleckos last about 2 weeks. Anyone have any suggestions as to what i could put in there?

I had 5 red belly's in a 65g between 2" and 5" some time ago. They ate my red eared slider turtle, and various other things that I would put in there, mice and such. Kinda felt bad about the turtle though cuz I "borrowed" it from a display down town Calgary, which is where I ended up putting the last 2 of them after they ate each other. Good luck finding tank mates for him. Pacu's would be a good start but keep in mind they get very large.

If you want tank mates for him (or her) you would need a larger tank, you will want a bigger tank anyways because he will get bigger.

I have never gotten piranhas because looking ahead you are very limited for future tankmate options and will be stuck with the piranha until he dies.

Default None

You definitely need to buy a bigger tank and should not be even considering adding more fish until the pirahna has been rehomed.
