Hi again Sam. What is that middle coral in the first photo. Its amazing what some good lighting will do. Big difference with the atinic.

George, that is a corky sea finger. They eat (encrust over) other gorgonians and take over their skeleton since this coral can't grow their own skeletons.

George, if your looking for some corky finger gorgonian, I have about three 5" frags forsale.

Love the comparisons!

Can you tell me how you take the photos so that coloration looks so wonderful? Whenever I take a pic it seems very yellow or dark!

Thanks. I don't do anything special. I've started to use the "Autolevel" feature from my BreezeBrowser program that converts the raw image to a webpage. The program also automatically sharpens the image.
