Default decreasing Kh

okay, so here's the problem,
i accidentally used too much PH buffer
and now my KH has shot up to 22.
my question is, how do i lower it down to regular parameters?
oh, and no i dont have any livestock in the tank (thank god)

Water changes..

Ordinarily with an elevated alkalinity I'd say just dose Ca for a while and it will come down anyhow (well, maybe with 22, I'd still say water changes, that's a high reading!!). But since you don't have any livestock, you don't have anything that's consuming that Alk and Ca, so in this case, just go with the water changes.

Do a 50% water change and it will prob come down to 16 or so which won't cause any harm.
