stay away from coralife, berlin, jebo, sea clone skimmers you will regreat it!! go under clasifieds and see how many people get out of the hobby with the same type of equipment,I am also speaking from experience of using these skimmers!!

Default skimmer

well ive heard more pros than cons when it comes to coralife skimmers, plus i think its rediculous to spend upwards of 400$ on a skimmer. so if someone has one for sale, shoot me a pm

There is nothing wrong with the way Coralife skimmers skim they just are finicky. I have a SS220 on my clown system and it skims well but its a pain to keep adjusting... My deltec on my main system never needs to be touched. Just empty / clean. But its also 4x the cost.

you're the clown fish breeder! I know you anyways, I am not here to advertise any company or arm wrestle with anybody here , I can care less if they would even not use a skimmer at all!! I am talking from experience I have been in the hobby for 15+ years part of wich is maintenance of tanks, I go through all situations it all comes down to people having the same type of equipment with no success when you used about everything the market has to offer you then you can tell me where I went wrong!!
you said the health in your clown fish tank is a success with the coralife clown fish could be put through sewage water and would still survive! I dare you to take that coralife and stick it with sps,lps reef tank and see the success then!!

I did have the SS220 on my 90g with lots of SPS and no problems. I upgraded tanks so I had it as a spare. I agree you get what you pay for. Not everyone can afford the best though. Those who have cheaper / undersized skimmers just need to water change more to keep the organics down.
