Default hitchhiker ID

sorry but i will have to grab a photo tomorrow if needed

but i have a hitchhiker i just noticed and they are a transparent tubular object (many of them) on the underside of one of my LR's. the look similar to a sponge and about 1/2cm long. any idea what these could be?

i would agree that it most likely sounds like tunicates if they are transparent, mine are little purple filter feeding tubes that hide from the light, extremely interesting biology

after searching and looking this up they for sure match up. thanks guys, just wanted to know before i took it out and nuked the rock but it sounds like these little guys are good
