Default Not so live rock

So, if I had what used to be live rock but has been out of service ( in a bucket) for a couple of years, is it good for anything? Can it be revived? or is it not worth my time.

Advice please and thank you.

It still makes great base rock. Just put it in a tank with some fresh live rock and it will reseed itself over time. Don't get rid of it.

Agreed. Although I would suggest you cook it (see link in my signature) because it will slowly leach quite a lot of phosphate and nitrate since everything on it and in it has died. This could cause an ongoing algae problem in your tank if you don't cook the rock.
