Default ID & Can aiptasia migrate from sump/fuge to Display Tank?

I've got some Aiptasia in my sump/fuge - Does anyone know if it will migrate from there into the main tank?
TIA,
Vic

Yes

It reproduces by creating small pores that can easily move around through the plumbing

you could try and pick out the algae that they are growing on. i find if they walk on the glass i can scrape them off and remove them. or kalk/lime paste should work if there are lots. remember tho, for every big one there a many times more small ones you can barley see. and peppermint shrimp may have a effect, especially on the small ones. good luck.

p.s. the Halimeda looks like it is greening up nicely. and signs of the reef snails yet? i added ~4 to the kelp bag.

Yeah, things look good, so far.
I was able to pull out ~6 anemones, but like you say, there'll likely be more hiding or too small to see.
They're actually in a 10gal quasi quarantine right now, that I used for the acclimation before putting them into the sump & main tank.
I did see the snails, they transported fine, but I'm not sure if they survived the drip acclimation I'll let you know how they fared, if I see them, again. They're definitely cool, though. I let the drip run for about 2.5hrs and the 2 I saw didn't look too good.
I've just got back from Fernie where I picked up some rubber gloves to handle the macro - I'm not keen on getting zapped by bristle/fire worms
I'll try putting things in place tonight.
Vic
