Default Mantis Shrimp, HELP!!!

I've got a mantis shrimp in my tank that I need to remove as soon as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out without ripping apart the tank?

Default Hmmm

You could try a baited trap. available at some lfs. sometimes work. put close to suspected "home". make sure to keep hands bloody clear.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

Default how to catch a mantis shrimp

i stab a piece of fresh shrimp meat on hooked wire, wave it around in my sump near any of my 6 or 7 residing mantis and they'll grab onto shrimp meat until they are able to work shrimp meat off. while they're trying to yank off meat i can if i want put a net around them. BTW if you're successful i can always provide a good home for your mantis.
