Default Ochre Starfish

Does anyone know if this starfish is reef compatible? In the wild they eat snails. Does this mean they would eat the snails in your tank?

You just answered your own question
Predatory stars are NOT considered reef safe, and most "reef safe" stars are harder to keep (with the exception of the non-fish-eating brittle stars) as we're not 100% positive really what exactly most of them eat. The general consensus is that most reef safe stars need at least 100+ lbs of liverock to sustain them as they are likely eating something from the LR.

Hope that helps
