Default feeding sps

I was just wundering how often and what you feed you sps's. I changed to oyster feast once to twice a week and I hate it. It stinks! Like dead fish.

I just feed my fish, nothing specifically for the coral.

I worry more about flow and lighting for sps. I just assume they find something to eat naturally in my already heavily fed tank.

Hi
It is really depending in the way you keep your system.
In normal average system with mixed population of corals I wouldn’t use any special coral food, maybe once in a while some phyto 30 minutes after lights are off.

In a dominated sps reef system with a low nutrient regime feeding is a must! There I would use some phyto and some amino acids on a daily base.

At the end you know your system the best! Just keep an eye and notice if the feeding is beneficial. Remember to much feeding will pollute you system and you will get the opposite results.
