I use a used inlet valve from a washing machine. bought it used for five dollars. it has a hose hook up on one side and a garden hose hook up on the other side, so you have to buy a few adapters to get to jg fittiings but works great. it is also 120 volts so that is not a problem. Although it does not look as nice they are plentyfull, and cheep. And my used one has been hooked up for over a year problem free. Also completely plastic inside and out. always a bonus for our water. Also thought I would mention that this is hooked up to my fresh water R/o line and do not know what it would be like in a place where salt or additives are already added.

Have you considered a low voltage solenoid valve ??

This ebay seller also sells the 120vac version.

The price with exchange is approx 25$ CDN.
