This has appeared on a piece of live rock I added to the tank a few weeks ago. Any idea what it is? Could this be a Majano?

Thank you

not a majano sp.. looks like a pseudocorynactis sp. to me. they pack a sting so you may want to deal with it if you can't move it. they don't really proliferate as far as I know.

It's pink with a green center and closes up at night.

Default new growth

I am identifying this as the Great Spagogoloupousis. It is a very rare and beautiful creature. After the 23rd day of its first appearance it will take over your entire tank by mass reproduction. There is nothing you can do to stop it. You must give all your coral and livestock to your closest neighbor to the south of you right away or this Spagogoloupousis will spread through your entire house, probably swallowing you whole while you sleep. Be aware!!! Be very aware!!!

Thanks Alfred,
Yes your house is next to mine and I have your spare key. I will come and drop it in your tank while you sleep.

On a serious note. Thanks for the info guys

Doesn't look like Pseudocorynactis. Majano anemones can vary in colouration and I have seen that colour. I am quite sure it's a Majano nem.

I'm going with Majano too, just a particularly pretty one.
