Happy Reefing MH Bulbs
I've never noticed them for sale in Canada...does anyone carry them? Looking particularly for the 250w 14000K DE.

I believe reading on RC that the brand is now defunct.

Bah!!! Of course...because that's the bulb I want. Pfff!

The options for 250w DE bulbs (with good PAR on an electronic ballast) are very slim. The AquaConnect look good on paper, but $140 per bulb!

Get a phoenix, it's basically the same as AC but cheaper

True, AC bulbs are expensive, but I justify them by figuring they will last me 12 months. That comes out to less than $12 a month.. what else in this hobby is that inexpensive?

I have the SE ones, I don't think I would buy them again. They're too bright for my corals, lol

If you want the AC's why not get the Phoenix bulbs for a lot cheaper but similar specs?

Cheers.

Ocean Aquatics has it as well as Oceanic Corals (but the website says they are sold out at the moment).

If you wanna go through the states Premium Aquatics is pretty good and they ship to Canada via USPS so they don't have those nasty brokers fees.

Cheers,
Vic
