Default Anyone tried or used coralvue 10k,14k,20k se bulbs

Hi just wondering if any of you fellow reefers have used coralvue se bulbs, i have a choice of the above three with my lumenmax pendant but would appreciate any feedback from peeps who have used these. thanks in advance as i am going crazy trying to decide.

I'd call that one personal preference. I ran 20k for a while and it was quite blue, I prefer 14k. If I were you I'd go to some LFS and check out the tanks that are running MH of course ask what the Kelvin is and hope fully it will make your decision easier. Think of it this way if you don't like what you chose you can change up and have a spare or wait 10 months or so. Good luck

Most of the local reefers I know are switching over to various 14000k bulbs. I run Phoenix 14000k, Hamilton 14000k & I used to run Aquaconnect 14000k. Love that white with blue look.

I agree! We talked about this at the dinner! I run the Phoenix bulbs and love them; however, I heard that the Aquaconnects are almost identical and supposedly last longer. They are almost twice the price though.

i've been doing research its too bad i can't seem to find any info on the 14k cv bulbs they must be new but all the tests show that the cv 20k has actually more par then the 15k bulb. maybe i'll be going with the 20k , seems the coralvue bulbs in general don't have the greatest par.
