Live Plants
I'm hoping to plant my new aquarium soon and was wondering what are the best species to propogate the tank with? I'm mostly holding plecos, ropefish and sharks but would like to add a few crayfish and snails eventually. Any plants to choose or avoid?

anubias and java fern are easy, but you probably want to start out with some sort of stem plant, hygro is imo the easiest stem plant.
crayfish and many fresh water snails eat plants, so do alot of plecos so i dont know about them with plants |

don't spend any money on fancy plants, the pleco's will destroy them in no time, get real fast growing plants, like hygro (sp) and they might have a good chance. but this also depends on the type of pleco, the one I currently have is very gentle on my plants but every other had destroyed them.
