Unhappy orange zoas

I recently change my halide to a 10k and my orange zoas havent opened since. Any ideas? Its been 3 days they are off to the side of the halide and at a depth of about 24-30 inches. They were fine under my 20K

Default

The 10ks will have a higher par rating then the 20k so that would affect the Zoas. They may just need some time to adjust. You can also try lowering your lighting period and then gradually increasing it back as the zoas get used to it.

Smile orange zoas

Thanks codfather I had one open today and another think about it. The Zoas you gave me on the other hand are always open, halides, moonlights, blue actinics, doesnt matter there open, the only time they close is when a shrimp runs across them, or when all the lights are off. Thanks Again.
