Default Anyone buy from "Fish Need It"?

Has anyone bought stuff from these guys?

Any comments on the quality of the product?

Pretty cheap and I like the idea that you can fit the MH & T-5 fixtures together.

Cheers,
Vic

It would be nice if they offered a SE version, as it is a pretty cool idea. I wonder the quality (and thus PAR) of their products...?

I have ! I ordered a 24" T5HO fixture and it was a great transaction, fast shipping. Light fixture is allright for quality though NOTHING like a TEK! The bulbs are not good quality at all and need replacing. I would love to see the MH T5 s as well and hope someone "takes a chance" to see if they are an allright product.

There are a couple active threads on them on nanoreef right now. General concesus seems to be they are good for the money. I like how the MH clip to the T5's, they look pretty sexy.

For the price I may just order a 150 or 250 MH to give it a shot and make myself a small frag tank.

Even if you have to replace the bulb its a good price for a fixture + ballast.

I also ordered the 24" T5HO and am very satisfied. The bulbs aren't great but they will do for most anything other then sps and can be upgraded at replacement time. I had a problem with one of the bulb clips being broken and they were very responsive. I spent some time talking to Simon, one of the owners, on the phone and he seemed like decent a guy trying to offer a good product at a good price. He told me they are always looking at ways to upgrade the lights and make a better product.

Anyways, don't expect Current or Tek Light quality but they are pretty good value for all but the most demanding lighting needs.

I've ordered a 250MH fixture and should be arriving today.
Will see how it turns out.

How do they ship? I'm just wondering what the duty and fees might be like.
