Default Metal halide advice

Well its that time of year when I have to change over my 250 w MH double ended bulbs . Currently Im using Ushio 10k . would like to go up to 14 k to get a bit more color .. Should I stick with Ushio or change to something else.. also since this is my first change over what do you recommend to help with coral burn out

I'm a big fan of Pheonix bulbs, but have seen some great looking tanks under Ushio's. In terms of helping the corals with the new bulbs, limit photoperiod, and gradually get your tank photoperiod back to what it normally is (I run my Metal Halides for 6 hours a day)
