Default Tube worm

Hi guys,

I bought a tube worm on the week end for my new reef...could you tell me if the tube is to be burried in the sand or is ok if place in the crevaces of the live rock...

Best regards

Marco

Put the little bugger anywhere secure & in a day or two it will cement itself in place. They're great additions, look pretty & my Copperband thinks they taste great!

Hi

Are you talking about a tube worm/Coco worm which comes with a hard shell or a feather duster which comes with its soft outer shell?.

Hi,

It is a feather duster which comes with a soft outer shell.....I have currently placed it between live rocks...but it doesn't come into contact with the sand...is this ok????

Hi

Yes! it is OK, the feather duster will in time attach itself to the rock base. It will also do well if left in the sand bed .
