Jack is on a distinguished road
Default Sargassum

Good or bad? I hear it is bad, Lee hates the stuff and cant get rid of it. He says it sucks up calcium too.

I just set up my tank and I have some growing, should I let grow while the tank is new to suck up any nutrients? See the thing is, I dont have my DSB in yet, I have a insuficeint knop HOT skimmer, and no refugium because my sump is not put together yet. Would letting the sargassum grow while I wait for my DSB and sump to be up and running be alright?

Also, I have never heard of it, but do you or can you use sargassum in a refugium? Oh, and anyone out there wanna sell me some macro algae for my future sump/refugium? :D

Thanks

PS, have you guys seen that firefight between dave and jamie? ;) lol
