20 gal Hagen Tank
I was given a 20 gal Hagen tank to keep some corals in until my tank has cycled. The tank does not leak but the bottom plastic trim will slip on and off. Does this compromise the integrity of the tank or should it be OK for a couple of months?

No problem I reckon. I inadvertently/stupidly pulled the top trim off my Hagen 75 when I first got it. It appeared to have been haphazardly siliconed on so I just cleaned off all the old silicone and redid it. No effect on tank integrity IMO, it just keeps salt creep from making its way to the outer glass. Since your issue is with the bottom, I wouldn't sweat it. If it bothers you, just secure it with a few dabs of silicone at evenly spaced intervals. Probably don't need to silicone all the way 'round.
