Default Drilling Tempered Glass

I've read somewhere before that drilling tempered glass is a big no-no. Anyone here ever tried it and had luck? I've never drilled glass before and would take it somewhere to get done if it's possible.

won't work......... the whole pain will shatter like safety glass.

If you wanted a hole in tempered glass...... you have to cut it before the tempering process.

Cheers,
Vic

I thought that would happen. Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for in and out flow pipes over the top of my 55 gal.

I know lots on tanks only have the bottom tempered. Are you sure the sides of your tank are as well?

There's a sticker on the bottom that says all panels are tempered
