Iodide K.I.
Iodine/iodide is present in seawater at 0.06pmm or 6 part per billion. Reef Series Iodide K.I. is a very concentrated stabilized Iodide source. At 10,000ppm is much stronger and yet much safer than most Iodine solutions on the market today. Reef Iodide K.I. uses non toxic potassium iodide that will not convert into toxic iodine in a reef system.
Iodide is taken up/out of a close marine aquarium quickly, so if not dosing any, chances are none is present in your aquarium. One dose (approx 5ml) last the average 50 gallon system up to seven days, one 473ml bottle last the average 50 gallon system up to 95 weeks!
