Default Coral on Pedastal Bases

How do most of you guys plant your corals when they come with the pedastal bases? Do you take them off or stick them in the sand? I just jammed the base into a hole in one of my rocks last night but I didn't know if this was the right thing to do or not.

Some people have propagation tank where they can let it grow of. I just break mine off the plugs and epoxy it down.

Sometimes I just cram mine into a hold and let it grow over the frag plug.

I prefer it on the tiny rock rather the plastic plug.
easyer to wirk with and saves a space in smaller tank.
