currently running charcoal.

-how long can one run charcoal in the tank?

-does it need to be replace ever so often? and if so how often?

-is the granular stuff better than the pads you can buy.?

Okay first off, I hope your not running strait "Charcoal" as you should be running activated carbon. Its swapped out usualy after a month of use and Pads/bags will have the same effect for you just in a differnt box.
