Default 250w 12K Sunburst

Anyone running these still or even know where they can be purchased outside the US ?

I ran the 400w version back when, . It was on a standard ballast though and lacked in par. I was reading where its at 65 PPFD compared with 66 with a Radium or 12K Reeflux @ only 51.

I want enough blue, as I dont run actinics, but not at a huge par loss. With Radiums $90 a pop, the Reeflux only $65, but not as blue and less par. However, {and I,m guessing here}, the Sunburst have always been a decent price and will give me the higher par and still the nice colour.

Doug
check out the phoenix bulbs for blue. I run the Aquaconnects and I've heard the Phoenix's bulbs are equivalent and cheaper versions of the AC. Lots of blue with decent PAR esp with HQI ballast.

I agree, I really liked the Phoenix bulbs, and they were way more intense than the Sunburst.
