Default New metallic "Betta imbellis"

Been kinda keeping my eye out for a short-finned betta for our 55g planted tank and saw this guy at Big Al's yesterday. I think he likes his new digs better than the dixie cup! betta imbellis is a less fiesty type of betta than splendens but it's not that that I was worried about, even splendens is usually ok in a community tank with many species but his long fins make him vulnerable, I think this guy will be able to hold his own. Poor guy, little bit of a social retard but you can't blame him

It was a toss-up between a solid powder blue and him, both beautiful fish, but he seemed perkier.
