Default HELP, Firefish in need, desparate

OK, Just got home from OA, My Firefish goby was fine, now pretty much lifeless, laboured breathing with a coiled looking thing exiting behind the right front fin.

Looks like, well, intestines???

It looks like they are Under his skin (scales). Is this the case? i wish i could be more helpful but unfortunatly not. this looks like IMO the kind of thing a cleaner shrimp would look for while doing a job.

GOOD LUCK with this.

No, they are external, can be uncoiled and pulled away, they are attached at the black spot behind fin. Appear to cause great discomfort if they are tugged upon, so I aint tugging on them any more. I have a cleaner too. Got Firefish, 2 Perc's, cleaner and Torch coral yesterday. Acclimated them all today. First inhabitants in tank, other than Hermits, so I wasnt too concerned with QT at the moment.

I would give him a bath in PraziPro. Not sure what it is, but if it's a parasite, then PraziPro will get rid of it.

Or ParaGuard as a second choice:

probably a parasite, especially how close it is to the gill opening, at this point it can't hurt to give him a bath in some med's.

Ya, he never survived the night. I tried FW dip, but think it was to late. Store thinks it was some kind of worm. They are going to replace when I make my next order. OA is awsome, called me long distance after I emailed pics and tried to diagnose.
