Default zoa sexual reproduction?

Hi all,

I just added some new zoas to my 10G nano two days ago. They look healthy so far. Today I saw what looked like a stream of milky fluid coming out of one of the polyps for at least a minute or two. Just want to confirm this is an attempt at sexual reproduction, not chemical warfare? Is it likely to be successful? I understand they usually reproduce asexually.

Thanks!

Regards,
Nevin

i dont think that they reproduce that way. they basically just grow on a mat, and as the mat grows more polyps pop up.

mine do that sometimes. i cant tell if it's from them getting stressed or...er..."relieving" themselves.

I Am yet to see my zoos do that but i know my plate coral does this and what it is, is a mucus to clear sand and debris off it.
