Gate valve? Hmmm.. Short of Albert having any in his trunk I'm not sure there is anywhere in town. The PVC gate valves at Western Pump are not the kind you want for fine flow control.

Might have to be mail order. I think J&L and Ocean Aquatics carry them.

When I was on the hunt (xmas) I checked several large shops with no luck. If you want to save time I would just order one from J&L or Ocean aquatics, unless someone on here has come across them.

I thought I had an extra one but I just checked and it was a 1/2" Ball valve. Sorry

I've got 1-1/2" ball valves you can have, but I think for a Herbie overflow (assuming that's what you have in mind) you'd be happier with a proper gate valve.

Did anyone ever check EMCO? They might be a good bet.

Sweet, I see they carry Chemline and Spears (among others), so they would be a good bet.

Wayne please let us know what you find out!

FYI -

Spoke with Corix here in Calgary, they don't have any in stock, but could get them in a couple of days from their Coquitlam store.
