Default Ocean Pro Pure

I just opened mt 1st bucket and realized no directions of how much salt per gallon.


Anybody know how much to use per gallon?

Should be around a cup/g

you should get a refractometer, or get a hydrometer if you dont want to dish out for the refractometer. Then you can measure to 1.025 or around there.

Yes I use around 1/2 cup per gal. But I still use a refractometer each time.

with a new salt you're unsure of go with 1/3 cup per gallon so you don't waste salt in case the level's off. it's easier to remove water then to remove salt.

I have a hydrometer, but figured someone would know roughly how much....call me lazy :P
