I have the pumps Eheim 1260 and 1262. I have modified the impeller to an Enkamat. The problem is to the pumps; one or the other does not want to work. When it has the ventury I must put my hand in front of it to make it work well. Without the ventury, I must incline it towards the surface for it to work.

As much in one as in the other when it starts it make a noise as if it was choking, but with the help of my hand it works well.

For one week I’ve been trying to get it to work by putting washers in the back of the shaft of the impeller. I’ve put 3 washers and nothing still. At the moment I have 4 layers of Enkamat, but I started with 3, and it stills gives me the same problem. At one time with 3 washers it worked well, turning on after 2 seconds, but now nothing.

When I put the normal impeller, without modifying it, works well. I will send you pictures later.
