Default Ok my first DIY! scared YES!

ok i have desided with the problems of my sump to keep it a sump, i am going to buy another tank, or get one made on top of my sump for a refugium so with my pluming i would have it go to the sump and the refugium and any water from the refugium just gravity fall back into the sump where the pump is? got it?
i am scared, not a plumming kind of person lol

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure you have primer and the proper pvc glue and you should be fine. Before you glue just double check everything, and if you need to mark your pvc with a felt (so that you know which peice goes where) so be it.

i should be ok, the main thing is to try to figure out how to do it, becuase the plumbing is alrighty there and its alrighty running, and how to get water to go from there to there kind of thing

any ideas?

I have what you describe and works no problem.

I'm tee'd into one of my drains but when testing, just feed with a small pump that was in the sump (worked well also).
