Default Phosphate test kits?

Don't think I have a problem but something I'm not testing for.

Wondering how easy to test for phosphate and which kit to get?

Its just as easy to test for phosphate as it is for nitrate, nitrites, etc.. Not exactly sure what test kit to get though.. I recommend go out and buy a master salt water test kit, should have it included.

I've got a salifert test kit that is just like the rest of the salifert kits, quick and easy to use.

I found that most phosphate test kits were unreliable.

I bought the expensive D-D phosphate test kit from J and L and I only needed to use it a few times to find out if my reef phosphate was too high (it wasn't) and to find out if my planted tank phosphate was too low (it wasn't). The other phosphate test kits I used measured zero phosphates where this phosphate test kit measured detectable phosphate levels.

If you just want to know as a one-time question whether your phosphates are too high, mail me a sample of your water and I can test it for you.
