Default Oscars

I love oscars! They have tremendous personality, they are trainable, fantastic fish. I had a 90 gallon oscar tank once and I want one again.

Bye, Keana

I voted for the arowana. You are right it has rainbow coloring. I found a few big fish are a lot easier to keep than a bunch of small ones. What do you feed them all?? Beautiful FW fish.

really nice red albino oscar, i have a a cichlid tank and know how aggressive they can be! i don't know about oscars but my jewel cichlid and my johanni cichlid managed to completely decimate the whole tank population leaving only themselves , they managed to work together and kill the other 6 cichlids! beautiful and interesting fish, however alot of people i've talked to say that there oscars are pretty docile, so i guess thats just my luck

been trying a mix of Omega one shrimp pellets (pretty well all natural fish food, not as much wheat as others for sale) and today i got some feeder fish.

I got the chance to watch the arowana eat one of my redfins and was amazed by the striking power and quickness of him.

the oscar is very piecefull and just glides threw out the tanks threw the driftwood i got setup. none of the others bother him due to size i imagine but i imagine if someone did try that he would turn and put up a fight back which could end up being a mess in the tank

I grew a few arrowana's from 1-2inches to 6-14inches. They are one of my favorite freshwater fish, along with A. Comps.
