Default WTB Green Mandarin Gobie

I'm looking to buy a Green Mandarin Gobie that is feeding on frozen/dry food as well as pods. I have a 30 gallon system that is 2 years old so I need to find a Mandarin that is not exclusively eating pods.

Thanks
Shane

go to your lfs and ask them to feed the tank that the mandarin is in. If you see it eat, then buy it!

the chance of finding a mandarin at a store that eats anything other than live food is pretty much non - existent.
Realistically, the only way that you are going to find one that is eating frozen is from someone that has had it for a long time.
I am pretty sure why that is why Shane is asking here verses just going to a store to get one.

If you can't find one that is already eating prepared foods, you can try to teach it.

I've had success teaching my fish to eat prepared foods by offering a variety of foods, and offering them frequently. I know its not the optimal solution you were looking for, but at least its an option.

Good luck finding one that eats prepared foods!

I saw the mandarins (well 2 of them) at Wai's eating mysis...(calgary)
I also want the rose bubble tip there, but I'd say i need my tank setup first...fighting the urge to put everything in the sump first
