Default featherduster help

Does anyone know if featherduster plumes will grow back? Apparently someone in my tank got a little hungry or so it seams. The worm itself seems to be OK for now but will the feathers grow back or will he starve to death first?

I had a feather duster loose it's 'head' for some reason. It grew back and he is fine now but it did take several weeks.

Captive feather dusters frequently lose their feathered crowns because of stress and malnourishment. Unless you have a mature reef and you feed your fish often, you will need to feed the feather dusters phytoplankton and possibly rotifers - basically food for filter feeders.

The feathers will eventually grow back, but usually not the same size and color as its original.
