Default Tumbling Chaeto

I have a powerhead pointed vertically in both my Reef and FOWLR 'fuges to tumble the chaeto, but it inevitably always gets hung up and doesn't tumble.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips to keep it tumbling, ...or is it really even all that important anyway? My NO3 tests are consistently <5mg for the Reef and 5-10 for the FOWLR.

Thanx much,

I don't think it's essential to have it tumbling. What you do want to avoid is the chaeto becoming clogged with crap like a mechanical filter. I have a hydor rotating water thingy pointed at the chaeto in my sump which keeps it rocking a bit and it's doing just dandy.

I use a round piece of glass, and two small locklines pointed at the Cheato. The lines direct flow to keep the ball spinning and tumbling. The glass sits under the ball, like a little dance floor, and it doesn't get hung up on it.
