Default Mandarins and red bugs

I had red bugs about a month ago and I didn't do anything to treat them and they are now gone and my sps are looking much better. I have a mandarin and I'm wondering if he ate them. That is the only explanation I can think of. Thoughts please.

That is a good possibility. They do eat tiny crustations which is what red bugs are. Some pipe fish will eat them too. Glad you got rid of them, but keep an eye out as fish don't usually get them all but certainly can keep them in check. Hopefully they are gone.
