Default flow for new tank...

So............ what should I use for flow in my new tank? It'll be approx 35G...24Lx18Wx20D with a DSB and NO overflow. Just a big glass box. Should I use a couple seio's? What models? Or should I go with something different? I was gonna use a Remora Pro skimmer and MAYBE an AC200 or something for carbon or other. LOVE hearing other people's opinions.

What are you keeping in the tank? Fish only, or reef?

Ooooops. Forgot that part. I will be keeping ANYTHING that catches my eye. SPS, LPS, Softies, Clams....whatever. 250MH and 100W of actinics will be overhead.

That gets a bit tricky to do on a small tank as SPS tend to like higher flow than almost anything else. It is doable however, but you just need to adjust your powerheads and aquascape accordingly.

You could probably do a smaller to midsized Tunze Nanostream on one end and the skimmer on the other, or a nanostream on either end and the skimmer in the center. The trick is positioning it such that your sand isn't all blown into a pile in the front of the tank.
