Default Electric shut off valve for RO/DI??

Is ther such thing as an electric shut off valve for my RO/DI's top off water. I only want top off to happen durring the day. I have a reef in the front office at work and should something go wrong durring the auto top off, I want to be close by instead of letting the water run all weekend.

Thanks
Rob

Default shut off

you can give your local coffee service a call and ask for a water shut off solenoid....its 120 volt... hookup in your water line(its 1/4 inch stainless fittings...wire to a light switch and you have control over the water line via this switch...should only cost $12 or so....
i use them for airline and water...all comercial coffee machine use em...
(like all water solenoids you should rebuild yearly to avoid leaks...) its a .25 rubber seal ask for a few when you buy the solenoid...

Sounds like a good idea. Thanks. My plan is to use a timer with it so the water can flow only durring the day when people are around.

Other option is to use sprinkler valves, available at Home Depot.
