Default Got Shadows - Convert to Glass Centre Brace or go Euro?

I got a new All Glass 90Gal RR tank this year and forgot to look into the light-centre brace compatibility. I have a central halide and a plastic centre brace so I get shadows and I want to fix the problem.

I figure that putting in a glass centre brace would be the easiest but I always hated having to clean it. I think eurobracing would be better in the long run but how would one go about it without blocking off access to the internal overflow box on a RR tank?

Tips, suggestions, and gibes welcome.
