Default Painting my Canopy

I'm going to paint my light canopy. It's metal, over a glass top. But I'd like to be open to the option of open-top, and I don't want any chipping paint to poison my tank. What spray paint can I use?

Krylon Fusion will do the trick. You can some at Canadian Tire.

I used a cool Rustoleum paint that gives a dented metal texture that looks good on my freshwater fixture. If you're concerned about heat, though, you could pick up that high heat paints (for BBQs etc).

I agree with Cazoom, though - once it's cured it's pretty much reef safe. I have tons and tons of chrome-coloured Krylon fall into my 65 before I threw away that abomination of a canopy - never had anything upset or dead in that tank once.
